If you’re on the fence get off now and buy it!! I’ve spent hundreds on resin and wasted so much time and money. Some due to being a beginner but after making and correcting those mistakes I was still having issues. I purchased the sample kit the results were phenomenal!! I immediately ordered more. This stuff is amazing. Thank you Mixed Media Girl

This resin was awful. The only plus was that it did not have the odor of most resins. However, I used it on several tumblers. All were properly prepped and cleaned. I only used gloves to touch the tumblers. They had horrible fisheyes on all the tumblers. Also the resin had bubbles that wouldn’t pop even with my torch. I ruined about 8 cups with this stuff. So between the price of this resin, the cups, and all the materials to make the cups, I was out nearly $150. I attempted to contact Mixed Media Girl twice without success. This includes emailing the address provided with the resin. No one ever responded. I simply cannot recommend this epoxy.

Hi Shannon, thank you for your review. I apologize that I did not get the one email that you sent, it had gone to my spam folder and I’m sorry I didn’t see it. I have since replied and am glad we can now sort out the trouble you are having with using resin. Fish eyes are caused by improper adhesion of the resin to the paint, or by dust and particles. This would occur with any resin and I’m happy to help you figure out how to prevent it in the future. Luckily none of your projects are actually ruined, you can simply sand them down and recoat with another layer of resin. I look forward to continuing our email conversation and helping you troubleshoot any issues you were having.

Ok there are NOT enough words in the English dictionary to describe how AMAZING Mixed Media Girls Artist Resin is!!! I hopped from one resin company to another and always had that one bubble show up or the resin just not setting correctly even after following their instructions. But when I tried Mixed Media Girls Artist Resin, my love and hate relationship turned to total love! I only did one coat on my coasters and I had ZERO bubbles and I followed the detailed instructions included in my shipment in regards to creating a dust free environment. I also had no dust specks on my coasters. I am so happy that I ordered another gallon and I will NEVER use any other resin again! Also Marcy is super professional and got my order on time and I highly recommend other products from her store as well as her art courses!

This is by far my favorite resin. I use it for coasters, vases, beach art, geodes, etc. I know it’s not intended for molds or deeper pours but I just preheat it and it works great!
