What is the usual shipping time of my order?

Most in-stock orders are processed and shipped within 1–3 business days. Pre-order items will have an estimated shipping timeframe listed in the product description. During sales, new product launches, holidays, or other especially busy periods, processing may take a little longer.

Where will my order ship from?

Orders are currently shipped from our Clearwater, Florida location.

How do pre-orders work?

Occasionally, products may be available for pre-order before they are in stock. The estimated shipping timeframe will always be listed in the product description, so please review this information before ordering.

If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, your order may be held until the pre-order item is available unless otherwise stated.

Where are Mixed Media Girl Pouring Paints and Artist Resin made?

I purchased an online course. When can I access my lessons?

Lessons for online courses are available immediately upon purchase. You will be able to take the lessons at your own pace and as many times as you wish. If you purchased a course on a pre-sale, the lessons become available as soon as the course launches (the launch date will be stated in the course description).

Do you offer in-person classes?

Yes! You can view our in-person events schedule here. If something is not in your area just yet, we encourage you to enjoy our online courses in the meantime here.

Are your courses suitable for beginners?

Yes! Many of my courses are designed to be accessible to beginners, while others explore more advanced techniques.

Check the individual course description for details about what will be covered and whether any previous experience is recommended.

Are your online courses self-paced, and how long do I have access?

Yes! My online courses are pre-recorded and self-paced, so there are no specific days or times you need to attend. You can watch the lessons whenever it works for you, pause and rewind as needed, and return to them whenever you'd like. You have lifetime access to the courses you purchase.

What if I have questions while taking a course?

I'm happy to help! If you have a question about a lesson, technique, or your course access, you can email me at info@thepainterinyou.com.

When contacting me, please include the name of the course, the email address you used to purchase it, and as much information as possible about your question so I can help you more quickly.

Do I have to use the exact products or brands shown in the course?

No! My courses are designed to teach you techniques, not require you to use a specific brand of products.

Each course includes a materials list so you know what types of supplies you'll need, and I'll often demonstrate using the products I personally use and recommend. However, in most cases you can substitute comparable products that you already have or that are readily available where you live.

This is especially important for my international students, since not every product or brand is available in every country. The techniques you learn can be applied using a wide variety of products.

And of course, if you'd like to use the same products I'm using, many of my favorite acrylic pouring, resin art, colorants, molds, tools, and other supplies are available directly from Mixed Media Girl.

Can I take your courses if I live outside the United States?

Absolutely! My courses can be taken from anywhere.

You do not need access to the exact brands or products I use in order to follow along. I focus on teaching the techniques and principles behind what we're doing so you can apply them using comparable materials available in your area.

Can I purchase a book to supplement the course?

Yes! I currently have paperback books for both acrylic pouring and resin art.

The Paint Pouring Workshop covers acrylic pouring fundamentals along with a variety of techniques and projects and is available through Amazon.

The Resin Art Workshop covers resin art fundamentals, materials, techniques, and projects and is available directly from Mixed Media Girl.

The books are great additional resources, but they are not required to take any of my online courses.

Can anyone learn acrylic pouring or resin art?

Absolutely. You don't need to consider yourself an “artist” or have previous art experience to get started.

My courses are designed to break techniques down step-by-step so you can understand not only what to do, but why you're doing it. From there, you can practice, experiment, and develop your own style.
